Founded by Tanya and Angil, two moms who understand the challenges of balancing family and everyday life, J&A KidCo was created to give parents a safe, reliable, and enriching childcare option that fits real schedules.
Our programs are designed to spark joy and curiosity in children through play, learning, and connection—while giving parents peace of mind. Whether you need a few hours to run errands, attend appointments, or simply take a well-deserved break, we’re here to help.
With flexible care, engaging enrichment, and a family-first approach, J&A KidCo is more than childcare—it’s a community.
Hello, my name is Tanya Chavez, and I’ve always had a passion for caring for children and helping them grow in safe, nurturing environments. I have hands-on experience as a teacher’s assistant at a daycare working with toddlers, as well as at a home daycare working with children of various ages. As a certified daycare owner, my past experiences and my love for children have inspired me to co-create this childcare program.
As a mom and stepmom, I know how important it is to have childcare you can trust. I also understand how busy our days can be, which is why we aim to support parents in a way that’s different from traditional childcare. Watching my son, Jaylen, grow each day has been one of my greatest blessings, and caring for him is now my purpose in life. I bring that same care and attention to every child in J&A KidCo programs.
My goal is not only to provide flexible, fun, and safe childcare but also to build strong connections with parents and support families however we can. I’m also passionate about giving back to the community, especially to children in need, and I love creating opportunities for kids to learn, play, and feel valued.
Hello! My name is Angil Herrera, and I have spent over 10 years working hands-on with children of all ages and abilities. My journey has taken me through many roles—serving as a volunteer team lead in children’s ministry, working in education as a paraprofessional for children on the autism spectrum, providing behavior therapy at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, and caring for little ones as a nanny.
Currently, I serve as a Program Manager for a nonprofit organization, where I oversee an educational program that supports at-risk children and youth.
Through every chapter of my career, one thing has remained constant: my heart for children. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and supported in their growth and development.
Now, as a mom to my son, Andres, that passion has deepened even more. He inspires me every day to create nurturing, dependable, and enriching spaces for children—the kind of care I would want for my own family.
